There are a lot of technological processes in the production process of automotive fasteners. Today we will introduce what the surface treatment of automotive fasteners is. There are several ways of surface treatment:
1、 The natural color can be kept for 3-5 years by boiling and drying with sulfuric acid soap.
2、 Phosphating: a process in which iron and steel are treated in phosphating solution and deposited on the surface to form a crystalline phosphate film insoluble in water.
3、 The advantages of dephosphorization: cold heading phosphating is to make the cold heading forming well. Descaling after cold heading can eliminate the cold brittleness of the parts, and it is good for electroplating. The surface of the parts after dephosphorization is not easy to conduct electricity.
4、 Phosphating process is divided into impregnation method and spray method: 1. Impregnation method: suitable for high, medium and low temperature phosphating process, can handle any shape of workpiece. It is characterized by simple equipment, no need of phosphating tank and heating equipment. Stainless steel or rubber lined tank is used, and stainless steel heating pipe is placed on both sides of the tank. 2. Spray method: it is suitable for medium and low temperature phosphating process, and can handle large area workpieces, such as automobile, refrigerator and washing machine shell. It is characterized by short processing time, fast film-forming reaction speed and high production efficiency. The general phosphating process of iron and steel is as follows: chemical degreasing - hot water washing - cold water washing - acid washing - cold water washing - phosphating treatment - phosphating after treatment - deionized water - drying.
5、 Alkaline blackening process: degreasing - water cleaning - Pickling - water cleaning - blackening - passivation - water cleaning - oiling and rust prevention.
